Notability is a choir of around 16 people based in Manchester. We are distinctive in several ways. We don't have a conductor, though there is someone who brings us in and off. As a consequence we look at the audience while we're singing. We talk to the audience. We have a number of fine raconteurs who introduce sets of songs, always informatively, often humorously. We try to entertain rather than impress our audience. There's little that's challenging to the ear (though there are some pieces that are difficult to get right!)

There's no one person choosing the music to be included in our Repertoire We all make suggestions as to what should be included, which results in considerable variety. We're not expensive to hire. We charge enough to cover expenses (travel and music purchase, basically). We are blessed with having several fine Solo Singers among our numbers.
